Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how DigiForge HQ (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit digiforgehq.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Information you type into our calculators
Our calculators run entirely in your web browser. The numbers you enter (such as benefit amounts, income or birth year) are not sent to our servers, stored by us or linked to you. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.
2. Information you send us
If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you and to improve the Site. We do not sell it, and we keep messages only as long as needed to handle your request (normally no more than 24 months). Please do not send us your Social Security number, bank details or medical information.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and time of visit) for security and to keep the Site running. If we enable analytics, we may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful; it uses cookies to collect aggregated usage data.
4. Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements, which keeps the Site free. In connection with advertising:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message, provided through a Google-certified consent management platform, before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy link in that message. See our Cookie Policy for details.
5. How we use information
- To operate, secure and improve the Site.
- To respond to your messages and correction requests.
- To show advertising that funds the Site, as described above.
We do not sell personal information for money. Where US state laws treat sharing data for targeted advertising as a “sale” or “sharing”, you can opt out using the options in section 4 or by contacting us.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or other US states, or the EEA/UK), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond within the time required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required.
7. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive.
9. Links to other websites
We link to government sources and other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
