Everything on DigiForge HQ — calculators, guides, tables and examples — is general information for education. Results are estimates that depend on the figures you enter and on simplified assumptions explained on each page. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal or benefits advice, and should not be your only basis for a decision.
Official amounts come from the agencies
Your actual Social Security, SSI and SSDI amounts are set by the Social Security Administration. Medicare premiums and surcharges are set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and applied by SSA. Federal taxes are governed by the IRS, and state taxes by your state. Always confirm important figures with the agency (for example through your my Social Security account) or with a qualified professional.
Projected figures
Some amounts for the coming year are published by the agencies only in the fall. Until then, we may use widely cited projections and label them “projected”. Projections can differ from the final official amounts.

DigiForge HQ is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the SSA, IRS, CMS or any government agency.
