About DigiForge HQ
DigiForge HQ is a free, independent website that helps older Americans and their families understand the numbers behind Social Security, SSI, SSDI, Medicare and retirement taxes.
Why we built this site
Benefit rules are full of thresholds, percentages and dates that change every year. Official publications are accurate but can be hard to apply to your own situation. We turn those rules into simple calculators with large, readable text, and pair each one with a guide that explains what the result means and what to check next.
Who runs DigiForge HQ
DigiForge HQ is run by a small independent team. We are not financial advisers, tax preparers or attorneys, and we do not sell financial products. Our goal is to help you understand your options before you speak with the Social Security Administration, the IRS, Medicare or a qualified professional.
How we keep our figures accurate
- Every rate, limit and date comes from a primary source: SSA fact sheets and publications, IRS revenue procedures and publications, or Medicare/CMS announcements.
- When the official figure for a year has not been published yet, we use the best available projection and label it projected on the page.
- We review all figures each fall when the new year’s amounts are announced, and correct errors as soon as they are reported.
